it's heaps smaller than the hole for the 4A gear so I would have to think it does something, add to that the boot being there as well. I'm confident it would make a significant difference.
I'll get some better pics up tomorrow if I remember, I'll move the carpet so you can see where it sits in relation to the seams and shit. use photobucket or imageshack to get a pic up. if you can give me good pics I'll get you to do some measuring and I can make one.
