No AE86 4AGE looms in Australia are going to have a resistor pack unless they were imported US/Canada AFM looms.

No quite correct, no genuine AE86 loom will have them in Aus. There are lots of AE82 seca's with round plug pink injectors that have resister packs.
actually smallport 232c injectors in a bigport work better
proven on my car with a standard bigport ecu
motor i was talking about^^^
Im not too technical on it all, all i know is it works and works well. driven the car a few times now
??? Are you sure they are green smallport injectors? If so, they are high impedence and should not work. I find that very hard to believe.
Couldn't possibly be out of something else? What colour are they? Have you checked the resistance across the injector terminals?
I am putting some yellow 225cc series 1 1GGTE injectors in mine soonish, on the basis that the ecu will hopefully cope with the 23% upgrade, plus I have an early HKS F-con to make adjustments.
na, haven't checked the resistance. forget wat colour, will find out 2nyt, think there green, definately cme off a ae92
tiny bit rich under 1500 rpm, motor does howevr have higher compresion and portd head etc
I've only seen a handful of resister packs around, most ADM bigports run high impedance. If you don't have one of these under the bonnet you can chuck in high ohm injectors without troubles.

I think it is the other way around? All the ADM bigports I have seen have had grey or blue 182cc low impedence injectors. Then there are the pink 200cc low impedence injectors fitted to some late bigports in early AE92's.
I used to have the same opinion, but from observation it doesn't seem correct.
If both the injectors are low impedance, why does one Loom run a resister pack, one not?
I've heard of numerous people running a AE92 100kw engine on an a bigport ECU, they all just wired the 100kw injectors in and away it went.
AE92 bigport ECU's have a totally different ECU and loom, they have paired injectors, not batch fire. The loom that the resister pack is pictured with has the resister pack and is batch fire, it's from an AE82 seca. I've seen them in the SECA in the past with this setup, and I've also seem them without the pack - the same setup as an AE82 twinky.
