    Can you use a RWD 4AG thermostate housing on a 4AC water pump backing plate. I thought I could use the 4AC thermostate housing on my 4AG but it runs really close to the RWD alt setup.

    if so make it fit.

    yes the holes are exactly the same the angle on the 4ag rwd thermo housing is greater so it clears the alternator

    Yep thats what I needed to know. Thanks orangechargd86. Also are the AE86 4AGE bottom radiator hoses easily getable?

    Really? The one I have looks to be a couple inches short, although it may not be an original one.

    If not, new ones from Enzed or the wreckers would be the way to go. They should be easy to get, the engines are fairly plentiful :2thumbs:
