hey all pretty simple question but im too dumb to know the answer

now when u put your motor to "top dead centre" and put the head back on, there are marks on the cam cover that you line up to marks on the cam gears

now my question, there are 2 marks about 1-1.5 cm away from each other on the inlet cam gear, i just want to know which 1 i line up with the mark on the cam cover

    thanks, brendan :2thumbs:

is the mark a dot or a line
are the two marks similar in appearance and position, ie on the edge of a tooth on the gear
turn the inlet cam over so the #1 had just closed for compression ready for ignition then power stroke

whatever recognisable mark that u use on the exhaust cam gear, use for the inlet
put up a picture of this inlet cam gear
