cool man i already knew that , but i'm pretty sure there's 2 types and one is no good with a remote themostat housing setup.
i was told to use an ae82 flat type one , i guess i'll find out which one it has when i go check out the motor
i have another option : a jdm 4age with everything except the loom and ecu , can i use a front wheel drive loom on the jdm motor ?

You will need to change or modify the rear outlet on the head, the MR2 one sticks out straight and hits the firewall, but either a FWD or RWD one will work fine.

And yes, you can use a FWD loom with any motor, so long as it is a bigport 4age.

a FWD loom it too short and needs to be lengthened, or is can be mounted in the engien bay but i would really not recomend this due to the heat and the shit that flys around in there (water, oil, fuel etc...)

Hey mate i use a aw mr2 motor, pretty sure its just the same. Just got a remote therrmistat, and i dont think loom is any different. One thing tho is the timing is set up alot different on the aw motors to standard bigport
