ae86 struts - quick question

hey ive got some falcon springs, that of a 5.5" diameter, now these obviously dont fit a ae71 spring seat, as when i measured them, they are 5"

now, i was wondering what size diameter is the spring seats on ae86 struts?

are the brakes any different to a ae71?

if i remember correctly ill need 86 steerings arms yes?

They will sit fine in the E7 struts

You need 86 steering arms yes when using 86 struts

brake sizes are

ke70 - 218mm
ae86 - 234mm

both single piston

they dont fit dude, unless you count fitting as having the spring sit on the very outer edge of the spring seat. the slightest bump and i reckon they'd pop out of its place.

You must be using rear falcon springs, the falcons i had in the front of my 71 would have only been 4 inches or so in diameter, were falcon fronts, from an LTD model

so would rear falcon springs sit in ae86 struts? or are the spring seats the same in the ae71 and ae86 struts?
