wak video boys
i say use the JDM setup
if it doesn't fulfill your needs sell it through Kyouteki
i found JDM to be similar stopping power to ADM just heaps less resistant to fade.
not as good as everyones says/thinks IMO
Just use turtle wax...
My girls are scared of fire yes...espesially when emitted from an exhuast at a million miles an hour.........
As for Aaron...he's horrified by the concealed remover of sumps![]()

ps.. drop in when it's going...dam is dry enough again....good luck with it...love the work of you Kyouteki fellas...

Ah brilliant thanks for that advice Gilly... really helpful man... i can get brand new calipers and everything really cheap for the conversion, i just dont want to waste money/time on a setup that wont fulfill my needs. Remember that i have to buy 86 struts AND new springs before i can even think about running the brake setup so yeah. Once again i can get this stuff cheap, but i would prefer to avoid it if i can.
What other options do i have? I still want to run a 14" wheel. And converting to silvia stuff is not a option.
I promise i'll be well behaved on the farm ScotlyYour place will be one of the first places i go once its running well enough for a decent trip!
my only other recommendation would have been the silvia front end![]()
Lost interest half way through your vid, and started watching the TE72 hardtop with 4TGTE vids![]()
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
bilstien are good, i have them and even the entry level shock (front) is superb! altho you will have to play with spring rate to get them to your liking.
as for brakes, i have keto ones on the snotter and theyre absolutly great. rebuild and spend $200 on pads and your set.
or get adm ones and do the same, much less fade that way. i recomend taking the dust cover out if your a hillsy person.
nice car too, should look good once you have it to your liking and paint thos guards
Gilly, i am disgusted. Silvia is wakk. Though the brakes would be oh so nice...
T18, the flaring job is terrible lol. Thanks though. I have some spare front guards so i will be redoing the guards once i have my sigma's in. Thankyou for the kind comment though
C1Atlasuglymotherfuckermyman, send me a price man... remember how good i am to you though lol...
Biggo, I really dont know what i will do in regards to shocks. Im thinking i might just grab some new TRD short stroke adjustables... I will have a look at pricing etc and try to get a bit of a better idea. Thank you very, very much for your insight however, it is exactly what i need! So what shocks do you run? Just the entry level ones?
Also i have put new pads into the t18 callipers, high temp ones, and they are still junk... If i replaced the rotors and resealed the callipers they might be ok, but i would prefer to do all of this freshening up work on a better base in the first place, in order to achieve a better end result...
That dust guard idea is a good one though. I assume this is to achieve better cooling of the rotor/pad/calliper?
Hopefully it all comes together at the end of the day... we will see.
Thankyou all very much for your opinions and input, it is appreciated muchly
Justin heres what I recomend:
- T-18 camber tops
- XT-130 lower control arms
- XT-130 shortened struts
- MX62 calipers
- MA-61 disks
- AGX ST185 or ST-205 dampners
- stock any roll bars
- complete bush kit except for the rear upper trailing arm
- the front lowered 10mm more than the back
rear:
- 3.5 link setup
- lowered rear lower pivot points
thats all i can think of right now
what thickness are you bolt on spacers at the front?
30kw club
This is what i need!
Thankyou very much for your suggestions there Sam.... they will certainly be taken into account... i have to talk to you further tomorrow night about those brakes when im not so cloudy.
My front bolt on spacers are 25mm thick. I am also hoping to get 14x8 negative offset rims as well soonish. Thanks for your help Sam.
