haha, this thread just reminded me about the time I went to China Town in the city for a day out and I saw lots of rip off products like "SANY" and "PONYSONIC" batteries and "BRICK" which was a rip off of Lego but it was sooo similar it was scary. :lol:

You know, GM actually tried to sue Cherry Car company because the Cherry QQ strongly resembled the Daewoo Matiz. And they did this despite supplying some of the parts for the QQ, and having a 30% stake of Cherry itself?!

I once read an article in National Geographic (actually it was the other day :lol: ) which described the uprise of the Chinese market, and all they do is look for an intem that is a part of a larger things, manufacture it and sell it. Then other people see that and copy the product, make it and sell it. Businesses move away, and get copied again, its a never-ending cycle.


Preety amazing, yet really sad as well, all they do to make money is copy off everyone else
