Hey kids,
I've been playing around with carbon-fibre recently, getting into the whole lightweight thing.
Anywho, i've got all the stuff to make some decent moulds, and since i have sliced up my OUTSIDE window seal in my own sillyness, i have decided to make a farely "bare" fibreglass rear hatch, which will still look the same from the outside.
1. Instead of glass, is there any kind of replacement that DOESNT scratch/weather/fade? I have heard of one or two scratchproof perspexes that might be a go-er, anyone shed some light?
2. What will i do in regards to the outer weather seal? I'm thinking attaching the perspex somewhat "underneath" the hatch and then putting a seal over the top, but then again i cant think of anything to do with this off the top of my head.
So to summarise: It's friday, i have a headache, i can make fibreglass stuff, but i dont know what to do with the weather seal and "glass"
Love you long time
Seamus
