What kind of setup is this? What would need to be done to run this? Where can something like system be bought from?

I hope you have a budget of around $2000 for pedal box like this Tilton assembly and remote master cylinders with associated bits reqd![]()
I enquired about an AP Racing Pedal Assembly through a mate that worked for a race team - even at his price (which was for a used one) it was more than double what the Tilton one was new!

you can MAKE a pedal box for half the retail of a aftermarket one.
once you study them, it's a basic knowledge of fabrication, linkages, returns, and cylinder placement. i've seen complete systems made for under $500 inclusive of accel pedal.
you can buy most parts (remote resivoirs, MC's, bias adjusters [a must!] etc. from revolution race gear, or shop about at supercheap if you do some catalog hunting and are cheap. though, i reccomend just seeing revolution)
do note, in-cabin mounted bias adjusters are illegal as you are bringing pressurized lines into the cabin.
You WILL be forced to ditch the brake booster i'm pretty sure as i havent seen a upside-down pedal box yet that runs one due to the relocation of the master cylinder(s).
ask some of the clubman guys, or visit clubman forums, as alot of those guys get rid of their pedal boxes occasionally if they have them. but as said, don't expect it to be cheap, you get what you pay for.
failing that, this guy makes induvidual assemblies for quite cheap.
thanks guys, the price could come into it but for something that it that hot and for what they can do i might look foward to getting one. ill see what else i can find on them

Race pedals are normally coupled to improved braking and clutch systems (eg brake bias adjustable in car), not to mention to suit a lot of the modifications done to race cars in general. There is no advantage to street pedals for a street car. They look pretty and can be customised to how you want them to look, but thats really about it.
Also, to run custom pedals you would need to get it engineered to be passed by your local friendly road authority (or may be illegal altogether).

i had a look in josh youngs car and he has a setup that looks like the first photo on this thread. just remember u have to move the pedal back by 15cm atleast to fit everything in and also the steering wheel and seat accordingly. if u look at josh's sitting position he is pretty much sitting on the back seat and he has about 30cm from steering wheel to indicators. not a good idea for a treet car imo
