Do toyo make tyres under different brand names ?

I just had one of my tires replaced today, i never really paid attention tyre brands before.
But the guy told me that my tires were toyo and didnt make these anymore, so i couldnt match them and just matched them to new model toyo tyres.

But then looking closer later the tyre, i couldnt see Toyo branded on it anywhere on it ?

So did i get the rip or do toyo make tyres under another brand name ?

I have found that you can often tell the different tyres that manufacture makes by the text that they use for the tyre size (e.g. '185/60R14).

I know toyo and bridgestone have distinct text style and ALL the brands of tyre they make uses the same font!
