Light relays

Hey guys i'm going to set up some spot llights to a seperate switch do I need to use a relay and if so what size or how ever u determain the size of them or can I just run wires off the battery to a switch and to the lights,, kinda noob at this

wire it to a switch and to the battery. thats what we did with my beige ke when we wired up fog lights.

you should also use a fuse between the battery and the switch. but its not essential

So go switch battery and lights straight to the battery

lights to ground (anywhere baremetal should be grounded)


positive off the lights to the swtich.

then from the switch to the battery.
