I can somewhat understand why this car was put up as a ae86, i think with car sales when you pick the type of car it comes up with the stanard motors ie 1.3 carby for ke70.
This being no ordinary ke70 i would say he put it up as ae86 so it wouldn't be passed off as a standard ke70 at first glance.

As said before ke70's are not the same as ae86's with two more doors, however this car has almost everything you would want in your ae86, so it would be a shame for potential buyers to not even open it due to the first thought that its a 4kc corolla with a sprinter kit and nothing else.
Hope that makes sense.

Just to clear up some issues, hopefully this works out to be unbiased, ke70s are completely different to ae86. But part of the same family so of course things will match up. Ae71's are same driveline till the back of the gearbox (possiblely with some minor differences) and then tailshaft and rear end are different.

Anyway back on topic, whoever bought this car would be a very happy person.
