Ae71 is the same as ae86 but im not to sure bout ke70
Hey all just wondering if any one knows if the KE70 or AE71 tail shaft center bearing is the same as the AE86 one? Also where could i pick one up from as Toyota want $275 at trade price as they have to get it from jap land. Cheers any help would be sweet :2thumbs:

The AE71 / KE70 tail shafts are 2 piece but they're non-separable
AE86 / TE72 ones are 2 piece separable ones, so if anything i'd be looking for one to suit a T-18 (TE72)
Javal.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
Cheers guys thanks heaps. Was gonna be spewin if i had to get it in fron japan. :greenbounce:
Get one from Burson, Repco, etc. as it will be alot cheaper. You can remove the KE70 center bearing if you remove the bolt that holds the two halves of the tail shaft together.
KE fits Daz
i had to do this a while back
just seperate the two halves of the tailshaft and there is a big nut. undo that and your laughing
To correct my previous post
AE71 / KE tailshafts ARE separable, but it's a bitch...
...Well, more work than AJPS can be bothered doing anyway.

nice so i can just go to repco and got a KE70 or a AE71 center bearing and just fit that one.
