i'm currently buildin one for my soarer, i bought the MSII ver3 with loom and lc-1 wideband.
its not tooo difficult but you do have to do ALOT of reading......kinda not fun

still cheaper than other setups though, and you can tune it till your hearts content :greenbounce:

I'll be getting one shortly, x-mas present to myself, for its nearly infinite adjustability. Will be running a progressively more modified 4age.

Japlish - did you buy yours from the states or did you buy it off a local supplier (I heard there is one now)?

I was looking at these recently, someone said that they don't allow for enough maps to be made making the tune kind of rough...? what are others thoughts?

i realise that these are a budget ecu so they are likely to not have the same power as a motech M800!

i've come across a few setup's (youtube, msefi forum) that seem to run pretty damn well, but yeah it's definetly not a motec!

    so what are the disadvantages?

lesser fuel economy and not quite as much power or...?

I don't need boost/nitrous/launch control etc that the more expensive ecu's offer? just a better tune than the std ecu for improved power and bonus fuel economy..
