Can I ask the reason for the sale?
Hear ye hear yee
As the title states, i have the brackets i had fabbed up to suit my Hilux Diff with Series 6 RX7 Calipers. These brakets utilise 3 of the 4 bolts at end of diff and it is a striaght bolt on affair. To fit the rotors on the Hilux Axles you must turn the end of them down slightly, but thats it. Sprinter Handbrake cables work too, (calipers have mechanical handbrake built in so no nasty defects here!!)
The sale is for the Brackets ONLY. Please make sure you understnad this. Calipers and Rotors can be picked up for around $200 and are readily available. The bracket is made of 16mm BisPlate 80 (the strongest metal in shear) so engineering is no problem at all. Very strong for those responsive handbrake entries.![]()
These cost me bit under $100 to have made, will let go for $60.
Pics up shows the bracket and caliper without rotor. The mounting design enables you to decide where you want the caliper mounted, with 4 differnt options. The one in the pic is be rearward bottom mounting position.
More pics up later
Can I ask the reason for the sale?
Probably a revised braking setup.
That is a secret my friend... a secret beginning with Bre and ending in mbo...![]()
craig needs 8 piston with carbon rotors
And what car's he going to put them on once he sells his 86 to pay for them?!?
on his se70 racing car
up you go.... No one wants a bolt on rear brake setup that is legal and works well?!
do hilux diffs share the same bolt pattern as an 86 rear end? i.e. will these bolt up to a t-series rear end? i'm going to take a guess and say no.
Hilux diff has an outer bolt pattern of 4 bolts at about 110mm from opposite to opposite (top left to bottom right)
Even if the same i cannot tell you if the axel will protrude from the housing the same distance or not.
