This is for your Watanabe's? so they are going daily - thought you were saving them for special occasions![]()
Stick with the Advans A048 or Potenza RE-55 for the touge grip advantage. Even the BS RE-01R if you are streeting it!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (741 @ Nov 1 2007, 02:05 PM) </div>They will be my daily rims. I'll be saving the semis off them for the special occaisons... hehe
I was keen on the Bridgestone Adrenalins, but I was told by the guys at Keith 4 Wheels that the T1Rs are just as good. I don't think they'd have any reason to bullsh*t me, they are selling both tyres.
Just becuase there selling both tyres doesnt mean there not bullshitting you.
They may be making more off 1 tyre than the other.
I'm not saying the T1R is a bad tyre, I know nothing about the tyre, nore am I saying these guys are bullshitting you.
Im just saying be careful laying to much trust in a salesman who is there running a business.
Do your research.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DavisJD @ Nov 1 2007, 03:38 PM) </div>Best advice ever, iv been caught on this one, if they say its "the more expensive tyre" it doesn't mean its better... I got told a non-directional was better than a sport directional!!! noobs
And just on a random note, have a look at the sidewall on the tyres you will get, iv got 185/60/14 on 7" rims F+R on my car, but different brand tyres F+R. They have different levels of buldge/stretch and my front tyres actually scrub on the back, just something to keep in mind I guess, i would have thought they would be identical but was wrong
The T1R is the cheaper of the two. And these guys aren't what you would call dodgy, they're quite a prominent sports tyre dealer.
I've heard some mixed things about the T1R as well, it seems to be a good tire in general though. Apparently gives plenty of grip and getes nice and sticky when it's worn in.
Only one way to find out... If they suck, put em on the back and watch them appear on the road
195/50 or 205/50
stretch isnt only for drift, its for response when gripping too, some like it.
RT142 Estate.
AJPS.
Got the tires fitted today
:2thumbs:
205s on the rear
Now just need my sprinter to put them on
Also, she couldnt find the price for the 205s so charged me same price all round.
$660 fitted and balanced, I love 15s, on the supra it would have cost me about 1500-1800 just for tyres.
