4AGZE water pump

Guys,
This is going to sound like a silly question but I am doing a 4AGZE conversion with a T25 into my sprinter and I was wondering where the flow of water goes? Is it in through the back of the water pump and then out the back of the head????

Yes, from pump into the block. Some comes out the back of the head to feed the heater core if the heater is on. But most comes out the front of the head and goes into the top of the radiator.
