hilux diff final gear

hi, i wondering where i can get a different final gear for a hilux diff and how much would it be.

im lookin for something simular to the ADM sprinter S series final gear. cause my speedo isn't even close to the actual speed

id doubt it. 86's have 3.9 final drive most hiluxes have round 4.5 especially 4wd ones. Go to wrecker with the diff codes and have a gander

where abouts do you look to see what final gear it is and how can you telll which ratio it is, im assuming somewhere on teh fire wall

You can get 3.9s for hi-luxes but they aren`t as plentifull as the other ratios, i have 4.3s in mine at the moment. You can get 4.1s as well, it depends how much money you want to spend, if you count the number of teeth on your crownwheel and divide by the number of teeth on your pinion you will know your ratio. Is their a diff shop near your location it might pay to go and see them, if you can`t find any contact me and i might be able to arrange something for you,
