thats another reason theyre not legal. you cant get them off as quickly. and if they jam. it takes longer to cut them etc.

these are just all the reason i got given when i asked about them a while back.

The ADR ones all have a standard tongue style connector so they're easily removed; best ring DOT just to be sure man.

AFAIK you cant wear a harness legaly on the road. If you do wear a harness, you need to have your regular seat belt on too. <_<

I know the cop was being an arsehole, but its a simple request, itll take you mere minutes to get that harness out and get the car checked.... just hope that when you do its not that asshole cop again

OH, did your pizza go cold????!!??

Damn I can't beleive how good you QLDers have it! I wouldn't even have a moan about this, just take it out go to the cop shop then put it back in!

In SA if you first argue then laugh at a cop you'd be lucky to get your car on the road ever again!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ae86fow @ Nov 9 2007, 09:05 PM) </div>As for this point did he give you a piece of paper that said you have to get your car inspected at a police station by 16 November 5pm? If not then I dare say you don't have to do sweet FLICK all. If it's not in writing then it ain't shit. And if he thinks your guilty conscience will make you take it in to get inspected, why should you. As you said you have mod plate for your mods, I don't think you have anything to worry about. But if you do have a date with the constabulary, then just take the "racing" harness out and get it checked over. Then put it back in when you get home oh it's a technically a "safety" harness as it is there for safety reasons not for "racing".
