Thats why the Corolla brand is one of the most popular models of all timeAustralia is pretty much the same with reasons why Corollas are chosen, I work next to a main road in a suburban town, and I can easily see 10 KE70s and AE71s without even trying, countless more Corollas of other models too
I don't think we ever got the KE72, I know we had the TE72 T-18, which is longer than the KE72 pictured, and a much different design
Pretty much it was the KE/AE 70s and 71s that were sold here for the same reasons you list above, I think the reason the KE72 was not sold was because of the T-18 - anyone confirm this?
BTW the twin-cam engine was probably a 2T-G variant. Nice motors they are too![]()
