Bank numbers Questions!!

ok guys this is a question...

like i had depotsit money this on to someone's Account with the wrong BSB#( but is the same bank just wrong BSB#)

the Account# is rite!!!

would it still go in??

i dont think i will im not 100% sure tho but thhe bsb is the branch they use sorta thing so if its wrong i dont think it will go in did u do it on the net

IF the BSB is wrong it sends the cash back 2 ya then try again

the first 2 digits on the bsb are the state/territory and the last 4 are location.

Simple, ring the bank and tell them when the open

Its a grey area

If the account numbers match, it will be sent through. Get in contact with your bank and have them reverse the transaction stating the facts.

If it doesn't match, you are normally notified, either on your statement or phone call/email). sometimes, the transaction is just deleted if the bank cannot process it. See if you can call a help centre for your bank, and see how they can help :2thumbs:

i once transfered some money to nick with the wrong acount details, account number was wrong, money was gone, bank wanted 25 bucks to find where the money went.

once I direct credited a client with the wrong bsb but the bank fixed the problem wihout me knowing and transferred the funds over the the right bsb. But it is best to talk to the bank.
