i wouldn't be surprized if the stig or stigs come from a WRC background, concidering the lines and style of driving.

when they have had guest f1 drivers on, they have all gone reasonably the same in the medium priced small car, and they all ( im sure its al :unsure: ) take a different line the stig on one fo the corners, mayb the hammerhead.... except mansell when he was on. And the time he came up with was slightly faster than the rest, but remarkebly close to the "predicted" fastest time the stig recons he could do .....
like i said, it is anything but watertight :greenbounce:

if they keep changing who the stig is, the new stig could be that german chick that taught clarkson how to drive around the nurburgring ring in a diesel jag under ten minutes. and she did a faster lap time than clackson when she drove the ford transit van
