    hey guys,
just had a nice lock up on the slippery, greasy roads tonight and almost hit my boss's car, and i was wondering if any86's have abs installed, as a custom or replacement brake setup. Or would it just not be worth the effort and just do an advanced driving course

um not having abs teaches you how to break properly so you dont lock up. it teaches you progressive break peddling.

even if you have abs after learning this skill your car will stop faster if you know how to not activate it.

but theres not that many times i would be on the point of locking up, only in the rain its done it. ive used that technique before and that was on a down hill i didnt know, but im just talking about the times where u just hit the brakes and not think.

    Not necessary

Get better tyres and get to know the car better

    Or slow down
