i doubt a workshop would do it.
just get a friend of a friend to do it with a welder,
not much can go wrong....

mail me the centre and ill weld it for 50 bux
or bring it down to me one weekend, im about 2-2.5 hours south of bris
try the qld section, theres a ton of people on here that will be able to do it

If you want to weld it, you need to pre-heat, big power welder (I use 250-275amps) and the best case scenario is small rectangular plate that picks up the faces of each of the 4 spider gears. Then they don't fail. Axles however.............
