kyouteki are t3 distributors i believe
ive seen a set of t3 camber tops go in my cousins 86, probably better off with cusco
Hi i sell T3 gear.
Complete catalouge including what you have specified = )
I have no personal experience with the short shifter, but have researched into reports on them from people who use these items, have heard of no troubles other than what is supplied by any other short shifters (notchyness, etc).
My friend (who's car i was in frequently) uses t3 cambertops with silvia suspension with VERY stiff springs, we have bounced this sprinter off gutters and pit walls ( 3 foot thick concrete, no i am not joking) and the only sign of degradation from the t3 tops was a bit of surface rust on the adjusters where the allen keys have knocked the galvo treating off. This car saw REGULAR street sliding and track work with some mega fast entries and lots of bingles, never had a problem with them. The shocks packed it in, but cambertops loved it. Bearings are top notch and utilise sophisticated methods to be implaced in the tops.
Hope that helps
Justin
I've been running T3 Camber tops and the T3 short shifter for 2 years now. I have had NO problems whatsoever. I like them.
Plus they're cheaper than Cusco.![]()
short shifters dont fuck synchros, the dick behind the wheel, or rather the clutch does, and trust me i have broken over 15 boxes and 6 diffs, a shifter doesnt break gearboxes
just an example reverse out of the driveway for the first time today and blew the diff
T3 cambertops are good for the price, but require the T3 upper hat system if you want to do the job properly. I am using cut down original spring tops because I couldn't get the Upper hat system quick enough.
I have had the T3 shifter for 2 years now and its been fine. I have heard people say they are notchy, and C's are the ultimate, but for $160 or so they are good for the $.
They look like they should do the job and are priced well.
About the Cusco stuff being expensive, where are you buying from? Mine were like $170 shipped!
i under stand the engineering, all the ratios and shit, but with a good clutch and good shiftin there shouldnt be an issue thats my point
nah thats fair enough dude, ill eat sychros with a standard shifter so i cant tlk technique lol. i just believe there are ways to use a short shifter without blowin boxes or eatin synchros.
