If you find a rusted out TE72 T-18, then swap the whole driveline over. The 3T will give a little bit more power, and more potential.

Most here will tell you 4A-GE. Either way you will want a clutch pedal box from a AE71 or maybe a TE72.

if your ok with using an angle grinder, why not just find a cheap ca18. They go for dirt cheap on ns.com and sometimes ebay. Or you could stay toyota and pick up a worked 5k (easiest swap, not much gain) or a 3T (little bit more work) or AGE (even more work and $ again)
    watever you choose GL! :2thumbs:

ca18 is a fairly large mission.
out of all the possibilities the yellah fellah mention
it would end up costing the most

    Where abouts are you?

I can hook you up with a t18 with complete mechanicals if your in Tassy.

3tc are good motors, they dont rev at all so dont expect it, but are tough and torquey. T18 (te72) pedal box doesnt fit ke70 without a bit of thinking. Ae71 pedal box is the best route.

Depends what kind of budget your on, i would personally recomend a 4age but if your budget is REALLY low, you could also consider stuff like 5k, worked 4k's (both available on places like rollaclub) or even a 4ac.

    a worked 5k with a sc12 or a turbo.

most make more power than a standard 4age.

or find urself a 2tg. quite hard to find but nufin beats the sound of twin solexs or webers in my case.

but u will need a t18 cross member. you also need to convert to hydraulic clutch. not hard in a ke70 i think.

dont quote me on it but a t18 pedal box may bolt in.
