Aparently this came out the other day. Was in harvey norman before checking out tv's and i noticed they had it (or gt5 HD) on the PS3 demo stand. Not bad at all!. It was on a demo disc with formula one, ridge racer 7 and a few other games. Had "time trial" and "drift trial" with about 10 or so cars for the drift trial and about 20 or so for time trail.

when i was at uni a few months ago i stopped into JB hifi a few times in the city, played the drift thing for aaaages
i think its lifelike..ish...its good run none the less!!

the graphics are so so, PS3 graphics are SWEET
they have a HD DVD drive... that you have to buy extra. PS3 has a blue ray out of the box...
battery life in the controls is crap
you can put linux on a PS3, not on a 360
BUT!!! 360 has Halo 3, and that almost makes up for all it's down falls...

You can dl this game for free over the PSN if you have it connected to the net.
And if you are sneaky enough to create a 2nd acount in Japanese you can DL GT5 Prologue demowhich has the new GTR and other cool cars.
