Aparently this came out the other day. Was in harvey norman before checking out tv's and i noticed they had it (or gt5 HD) on the PS3 demo stand. Not bad at all!. It was on a demo disc with formula one, ridge racer 7 and a few other games. Had "time trial" and "drift trial" with about 10 or so cars for the drift trial and about 20 or so for time trail.

the graphics are so so, PS3 graphics are SWEET
they have a HD DVD drive... that you have to buy extra. PS3 has a blue ray out of the box...
battery life in the controls is crap

BUT!!! 360 has Halo 3, and that almost makes up for all it's down falls...
but Wii beats them all

You can put linux on a 360.
Get a corded controller
Blu ray disks cost extra to make, which menas you pay more.

HD DVD's aren't going to take off... Blockbuster are starting to stock blue ray, JB sell them, and Harvy norman push the blue ray dvd players... Blue ray wins all ready
