<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Gilly @ Dec 22 2007, 03:26 PM) </div>there is one at tafe where i used to go to trade school also......

the engine was rooted. blew heaps of smoke and was really noisy, we think it was due to driving on two wheels and the oil not getting to the pickup and it cooked the rings

the only mod this one had was the exhaust cut off before the rear wheels and a straight pipe put on it

They have a locked front diff also for the driving on 2 wheels thing.

i got an 07 hilux 2x4. it is pretty over spring in the rear especially, rides harsher than my rolla, i only even put bikes in the back of it so im thinking about taking a leaf out of each pack. But other than that its really nice, a bit on the wierd looking side but they grow on you, once you ditch the 14's in favour of something like a nice dished 16x8 which i will be doing soon with some 265 pirelli str's in around a 50 profile it should look really nice. So it looks nice but i can drive on dirt roads out to riding locations without having to go 2k's an hour and not worry about punctures and the likes.
