the wankers that do up excels are gonna be the same wankers who buy that car. a hyundai is a hyundai
200hp isnt much for a new car these days. it also looks like itll be quite heavy (1100kg's+).
not sure if this has been posted.....
its mentioned that it is available with the same (2L turbo) engine as Mitsubishi use in there high performance cars...

i dont think they will be putting the production version out with carbon bit to that extent and slotted rear rotors... lol not at under 20,000usd
200 hp is not much? 1100 kg is heavy?
fuckoff, what do you want? a 900kg car with 300 hp?
wankers buy hyundais because they are cheap, not because they areh yundais!

I own a hyundai the reason i got it is because it was my old mans since new has 160,000km on it 10yrs old and i needed a realiable car with air-con for my 2 year old son...
Does that make me a wanker for wanting something that has less road noise and is alot more comfy for a 2 year old?

i said wankers buy hyundais because they are cheap, not people who buy hyundais are wankers, but if you want to get offended then go right ahead!
i drove a hyundai accent for about 200 meters and it was one of the worst cars i have ever driven
it will be quite interesting to see how it comes out actually, if someone like Mitsubishi is supplying a motor for it than it may be worth a look at.
will definitely be worth a test drive if they make it to our shores, it may encourage other manufacturers to do the same. please tell me of another lightish turbo front engined RWD you can buy new at that a relatively cheap price.. i mean there are other RWD light cars, RX-8... MR2 is rwd... ah dirty aussie cars, euro/italian which not very many people can afford to buy new and who is going to void the warranty by modifying it..?
what i dislike about Hyundai is the total lack of any safety and the very very poor build and design quality. i dought that excels will still be driving around in 25years time with all original motor/drivetrain untouched as quite a few other cars have..... *cough Toyota*
57ompa: only thing i would be concerned about is the safety of your 2yo son. I'm looking forward to having a luxurious car with climate control, supercomfy seats and that's good on fuel. i dont think it was a silly move at all especially when you know the history of the car. but then again you could of brought a JDM hachi...![]()
