I got these TRD rear shocks for my 86, but looking at them they seem very short!! Can sombody verify the part number for me, its 48531-yzrh9. I had a look at the TRD web site but could not find this particular number.

Noted the perch for coil-over conversion. Are they KYB or Tokico? I'll check The TRD Bible tonight... Not listed so guess its not a AEXXX part

48531 - designates rear shock unit (general part #)

yzrh9 - ????? As AEXXX AE being Corolla specific and the last three numbers relate to setting.

They also offer these rear kits for AE86 - so this height adjustable kit should also work on KEXX

they're a "super sport" type if i recall, mainly used in onboard mounting if you're serious, though a few old original N2 cars (starlets in particular, though one or two 86s have i'm sure) used a higher mounting point on the rear diff for god knows what reason.

    light weight goodness
