yeah who is streeter?? cant find him mentioned in this thread....
i know ken streeter but i would sure hope he aint got the balls to show up here lol and i know of jesse streeter, but yeah havnt seen him respond here
magic manowned and built from scratch one of the coolest n2 replica's aus has ever seen, and is currently building a full tube chassis 86 with a honda all motor putting 300hp to the wheels. Is a fabricator for westcoast mufflers??? i believe
as for comp, i believe the resolution isnt available from microtech for good clean tuning. They CAN be made to work ok, but are primarily designed as wot easy tune comp.

500rpm load points work fine on a 20v. You only go looking for more load points if AFR spikes or dives erratically between the load points you are using. Revving to 10k, you'd only be able to use load points at 500rpm intervals with most ecus anyhow. I just don't think microtecs work as well in TPS mode as a lot of other ecus out there. Maybe it was just bad tuning on the setups Ive seen, but there are many people who've mentioned the same thing to me. Plus you cant just reconfigure for whatever ignition or engine you decide to run at home, yourself. You gotta send it away i believe. Good for turbo, just not as good for atmo builds as some other ecus out there. If Im sending away an ecu to get more features, I want to be sending a motec away to get my antilag on... not just to change from a Nissan to a Toyota or something simple like that.
to do it properly, 10K rpm really means a crank. bye bye $5000+
what model ecu is it Eddie? some smaller mirotech's dont even have two outputs. but for a 10K rpm motor youre not going to need vvt anyway.
enough of the microtec debate it stays cos thats what i got and it works for me, i have an lt10 ant, ok so scrap the 10g idea thats obviously a dream haha.
realy i want it to be driveable with smooth power, not like nothing or flat out like the turbs setup.

yeah bunta sold a lot of tofu to get it to 10K.
ok yeah LT10 can do it. was just checking, not flaming
mild cams, good tune, should do it.

if you want driveability then I say 270/270 cams with VVT
0.8mm head gasket
4-2-1 extractors with long pipes
aftermarket trumpets

question what cams have you dealt with before that run vvt??
have you found a difference between torque readings good adjustable cams gears and the standard vvt gear??
