reliable for how long? metal fatiage takes time. This is why some race cars use an hour meter on the engine so they know when to throw parts out. Don't risk your engine for the sake of a some decent rods. Also I wouldnt suggest you change that main crank pulley

i was wondering why i had never heard of a car part called a spool rod.... *der*

not looking for an all out build tho, will prob leave the std 20v rods, just do bearings.... maybe bolts, and raise compression with some decent cams

That's what I'll find out eventually I guess, only way to learn without secondhand information. I expect with the crank pulley to cause some issues, if it does then I'll refrain from using it, but I want to see the gains I will get.
