How long did it take you to save for your AE86?

i initially bought a rather ghetto spec adm 86 with my savings, owned that for about a year, crashed it, and then bought a trueno coupe shell to put all the bits into. the shell turned out to have a lot of rust which i repaired, but then didn't have the time to complete it properly, so it sat around for ages.

i ended up buying a ke70 which i swapped for a peugeot 205 gti, which shits on any sprinter/ke70 unfortunately some stupid woman ran a red light and wrote it off so i went out and bought a levin coupe with the payout i got for it, and i'm currently finishing of the other coupe shell as i have the time to do it now.

took a loan out to buy my old 180sx when i had a decent paying job
then sold the 180 when i started my apprenticeship and used all the money to buy my ae86, now im paying a big loan on apprentice wages! :<

it took bout 4 months to sell my G1 transformers collection and get my first 86

was pretty happy with it

ze in a gold 86 light flywheel locked s series low and handled well

taken me about 2 years so far and still dont have one, mines more of a waiting for a really good one to come up with as well..my parents will lend me a little bit extra if need be
