bike shops make custom cables for bike yair? i dont see how it wont work for your hand brake. or you could just take some long ones in and cut them down.
Any particular year camry?? And where did you get that info from?
Yeh I suppose you're right, I'll go visit today and see what they say. I still haven't counted the bolts on the diff but hopefully will today.
I just had a look then and there is 10 nuts on the diff housing, I took some pics aswell. Anyone got an idea as to what it is?
this answer will help me out as well
I got my hand brake cables done at a place at coppers plains... (Not 100% that was the suburb)
They're just around the corner from the Ulans bike club house...
They make trailers so I guess you could just try a company near you that makes trailers....
You will need to have all the right fittings for your outer section of the cable though..
As for your diff.......
They do come from the factory in the size you mentioned....
Maybe try and reference what year model had what lenght diff and you should be able to get the right seal...
(i didn't know the seals were differnet from hiace to hilux, or between years.)
Your other option is to get to seals off and chase up the code on them. Same as you would for random berings.
In your pics it looks like you have an early model diff as most of the later models step up in size on the axle tube....
Thats for hiux though....Have no idea what a hiace housing looks like....
Hope this helps..
sorry to hijack the thread but i just wanted to clarify, that if you tell what type of toyota diff is by counting the bolts around the diff
the ones ive circled
Dunno but thats the ones I was coutning lol. I got some cables made up from a place at Acacia Ridge, wasn't cheapBut working good
