mine from ajps tuck around 10mm of tyre and still can go around 30mm lower
mine from ajps tuck around 10mm of tyre and still can go around 30mm lower
Will also depend on the free height of the spring: 10", 8" etc more than the size of the tyre.
Also if you go too low (tuck most of tyre under guard) your rear links will be pointing up and your pinion angle will be down = wak handling
who cares.
As i said to you Blair, i only told you what i knew from first hand fact. Chris supplied you with pictures and what i assume to also be correct information, its not like we are going to lie to you for the pretty minimal commission that we get.
I would confidently use the t3 coilovers in my own car, and will be when i get another ke70. I believe that they give a great useable ride height and are comprised of good quality componentry (AGX shocks, Eibach spring...), though i suppose from your experience you cannot sit your rails on the road with them.
I just took more example pics just now.
I'm running a 15" with 195/50.
Here you can see how much tuck there is.......
I still have another inch to lower it.......

Mine sit a fraction higher than Chris's so the top of the edge of the tyre is level with the guard and I have about 1.5" of adjustment left. By the way my springs are 8kg ~450lb and 8" length (0800.250.0450)(wheels are 15x7 195/50/15 and rose-jointed 4-Link and Traction Brackets also fitted)
yeh anyway
my coilovers are for sale.
i have trd short storke blues (bout 6cm shorter then the agx shocks in coilovers)
and like 3.5 coils of 5kg spring
and theres <3cm of 175/65/14 showing
