brake fluid won't put you brake lights on!
need a little more info, so tail lights on and when you hit a bump your brake lights illuminate too? foot on brake and hit bump then brake light drop out?
electrical problems are usually quite logical to figure out if you can identify what is actually happening.
if you start from scratch then the adjustment of the brake light switch is the first thing I'd check(top of the brake pedal... it is adjustable!)
Id check the switch at your pedals
nah i suggested the fluid coz in one of my cars if the fluid is even just a tad under the line then the "!" light comes on under hard braking or speed humps.
doesn't hurt to check but its probably not it
cars with a fluid level monitor/switch will put the handbrake light on when low (!)
ive noticed that the break lights are on when i get out of bed sometimes lol so where abouts is this adjustment for the pedal exactly? cheers guys
start at you brake pedal and look up under the dash, you should be able to suss it out
yeh in my old ke30 the brake lights used to stay on, ther is a little switch above the pedal that when pushed it triggers the brake lights, ther should be 2 bolts for adjustement, put the switch a little further away so that u have to put the brake pedal in a lil more bfor the lights come on
after all this is was the stupid rubber grommet which acts like a bump stomp...has a indent that the switch ended up sittin in so the lights came onlol thanks anyway guys!
Cheers Will
