thanks for info, today ive purchased some ra60 struts, brakes, steering arms. ill be sourcing some xt130 lower arms, having the brakes serviced/reconditioned and putting it all in to see if it fits fine. by the sounds it will fit ok. I will then be adding some upgraded shocks and springs to the setup. i will report back on how good/bad it fits up.

My guess will be it will all fit, but give around 2deg positive camber and slower steering.

Camber can be overcome with Sigma LCAs and RA40 tie rods. But I've never seen a fix for the longer steering arms.

RA40 strut has the right geometry and the fatter stub axle, but RA60 brakes DO NOT bolt on. The hub and disc fit, but making an adaptor for the calipers would be a bit of a pain.

gaddamn, ill have to sort somthing out ey, just picked up the calipers from the shop this mornin, left them there to be serviced the other day... another $120 later got reco calipers that i mite not even use now!!! i have a feeling the ra60 strut will be no good now unless i go for some weld on coilovers. As i now have the struts in the garage i measured the length from the base to the spring land, its about 20mm longer than the stock ae71 strut, so i take it that handling with a lowered spring in there, a super short one to get a lower ride height, would be bloody ordinary would it not?

    RA60 strut = gay.

Gives positive camber (Can be overcome, but why not use RA40? They have the right geometry and the fat stub axle)
Has long steering arms (Cannot be overcome without plenty of die grinder (dodgy) love or cut and shut arms)
