IMHO... this is a brilliant car. The guy has obviously been in the scene a fair few years, and has just built up a list of traits he likes in various cars, combined that with his passion for the AE86, and just went nuts. Didn't care about what everyone else thinks, or what the status quo is these days, but just did what he wanted to do. Honestly, it seems to look and perform exactly how he planned it to, which is why he deserves commendation on his efforts.

Where will it stop? Will it ever be finished? How will it go? Why am I not wearing any pants?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (driftke70 @ Jan 30 2008, 01:27 PM) </div>As i said, yes they do have their place, like a 1600cc and under class, but as far as an open competition, there's no way they'll do any good at all.

So you put Ken in his 86 up against the same ken in Brett's car, who's going to come off second best?! No you havent seen me drive, have you driven in a commodore ute with koni suspension, correctly set up springs and sway bars?! I'd suggest you pull your head in.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Bustin_86 @ Dec 28 2007, 04:43 PM) </div>May i ask, what do you drive other than your kesev?!

I too respect Brett's driving (from what i've seen in his footage he car steer a car as well as he can build one) but from a point of veiw of someone who has also done alot of custom fab work, i respect his workmanship more.

the number plate might be a hint, its turbo too.

the other ls2 twin lockers, twin winches, 24 inch fox triple bypass shocks, external res. Worth more a corner than the entire setup on your ss.

    an 07 hilux daily,

i work at a suspension shop, have fitted koni stuff to all the local stuff, xr6 was definately the best after, ss was same old just tighter, do your front castor bushes they reap a fair bit in those boxes.

Not trying to be rude, but your extremely arrogant for someone who has yet to prove them self.

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (driftke70 @ Jan 30 2008, 01:54 PM) </div>Well, for arguments sake, why not a 4age in your clubman?!

Wont even comment on that 'thing' and yes i realise how much 4x4 suspension is worth, and its still not worth the price in my opinion.

I somehow doubt you have driven the vehicles you have fitted the suspension to to an extent that demonstrates the improvements. Yes, obviously the ute has had every bush replaced in it, caster/camber kits fitted, i should have made myself clearer when first posting.

Can we get back on topic now?!

very cool car i love it.

not a fan of the cross breading , but again meh.

i do beleive an na 4age can still dominate. yes it will come at an expensive price, but how much does it cost to do all custom fabrication to drop an sr in, and with s13 suspension?

ill say it again, i love the car, the period correctness is brings whilts have a stylish kit its very much my style on an 86.

everyone should just get off their high horse, 80% of people on here are purist the other 20% not, if your smart enough to drop some big arse motor in your hachi, then your smart enough to not start a crossbread mongrels debate everytime says na's are rad or i don't like big dirty nissan motors.

i'd also like to add that ive driven lots of cars, ive owned 2 sprinters, a ke, driven high horse powers commies and s14.5 making over 210 at the rubber. it does not take skill to drift a car with that much power. i can't imagine what it would be like have 210 in a hachi.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (crackett @ Jan 30 2008, 02:24 PM) </div>might not take skill to "drift it" but it does take skill to drift it properly!! your comment is almost like saying the d1 drivers don't have skill because they drive high powered cars?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div>I'd like to know why you're insulting me, when I haven't said anything offensive to you, in your members ride thread, in this thread, or any other thread.

Leave me out thanks, like you've mentioned so many times in this thread, let me build my car how I like it, and how I want to.

    Thanks.
