    Hey guys,

My 84 ADM sprinter needs new brake shoes however when I went down to supercheap today they told me they don't make any to fit..
So where else to turn but ae86dc.com.au
I had a quick search but couldn't find anything so if any of you fella's can help me out that'd be much appreciated.
I just need to know what to use and where to get it really and if you have any recommendaions as to better products that'd be great too.
Its just the standard rear end that came with the car (is that S series??)

    Thanks guys

    Chris

Go back to the same SuperCheap with a gun. Or even better, look it up yourself and order them if not in stock.

If you can't find "Sprinter AE86" in the book, try T-18 TE72, or Celica RA40. I think all these models have the same brake shoes. TA22, RA23, AE95 will also be similar if not the same.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (sprintdaddy @ Jan 24 2008, 12:33 AM) </div>Agreed, go to a brake shop, not superchina. They will do the following:

a ) actually find you the shoe you need
b ) possibly find you a range of different compound shoes
c ) do a better price for what you are getting

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jonny Rochester @ Jan 23 2008, 11:02 PM) </div>I would have thought that a T-series had bigger drums (and as such bigger shoes) than an S-series. I know the operation vastly differs between the two (self adjusting and all).

That said that's just an observation and my vernier been pulled out to make a comparison.

You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
