    4 questions,

1- i pulled my gearbox and clutch off today, unbolted flywheel but it still wont come off. tried using a crow bar, fk off big hammer, everything but it wont budge. there is a bearing that sits flush with the flywheel that i don't remember being there from last time i changed my clutch and it looks too small to be a spigot as it sits inside the middle of the fly wheel. so any suggestions to get it off?

2-i bought a new JUN lightened flywheel 4.1 kg and a new exedy cushioned button clutch (1300pound clamp force) should i get more clamp on it as i don't wanna put it all together only for it still to slip behind my gze?

3- the whole reason i pulled my box out was because i was driving and there was a loud noise coming from around my clutch area that sounded like metal on metal. so i was worried and took it apart. i thought it may have been the box input shaft being stripped as i didnt replace the spigot bearing when i changed my clutch. but the shaft looks in perfect nic. it made the noise even when just idling so i ruled out the clutch. any ideas as i don't wanna put it together only for the noise to continue?

4- i didnt get hand brake lines with my t series diff so can i just use my stock lines in the t series diff? also how do i get the lines off? i had a looksee but i couldnt see what to undo?

    thanks for all ur help

The bearing you see in the middle of the flywheel is the spiggot bearing, it has to be there on any RWG 4AG. You can get replacement ones from repco for a handful of coins. They are exactly the same as the 4AC ones, so just ask for one of them. These can be a nightmare to get out sometimes.

The metal on metal sound could be the thrust brace? (The bearing attached to the fork, which pushes the clutch in). Spin it by hand to see if its worn out or not! Again you can get new ones from Repco etc.

Spigot bearing....got a grease gun..if so insert end into centre of bearing and pump away...
(Don't get too excited or neighbours will call police you perverts)

Bearing should gradually slide out with the pressure

I used a twenty dollar slidehammer from Supercreeps works heaps easier than grease because the bearings are a firm fit, all you have to do is trim a bit off one of the steel threaded hooks thst come in the slidehammer kit and your away, it`s also a lot cleaner than using the grease method.

yeh i saw that bearing coming off the clutch fork. had a quick look and it seemed fine. it wasnt greasy so maybe i should just get a new one and grease her up. should i have to remove the spigot before the flywheel? last time i didnt.... maybe the spigot is holding my flywheel in place?and anyone know about the clamp force q?
