could be to do with the rate springs you are using... what are the shocks originally out of? are they designed for an ae? if they are getting a pounding the seals can thrash out pretty fast
i installed a new set of monroe gt gas shocks in the front of my ae71 about 5 months ago and have barely done 1000kms on them and they are screwed allready. theres no resistance at all when i compress the shock by hand. Must be defects. Unlucky i guess. There on waranty so ill get a new pair. Anyone else had this?

What ride height do you have, if its too low the shocks can bottom out excessively
and damage the shock.
hey guys cheers for your reply. I am using 30mm lowerd king springs KFRL-16, and the rear leaf springs are at stock ride height at the moment, to be lowerd the same soon. will 30mm low king springs bottom my shocks out?. The shocks are what monroe specifies for that car I'm pretty sure. Thanks allot

Traction and me, were not meant to be...
Hmm, I think monroe might have to sling you a new pair of shocks.
They shouldn't shit themselves that quick at your ride height & spring rate,
unless you rally bash them or carry 5 ton loads.
When you get the new shocks, sell them and get some KYBs or similar.
Oh, and I would steer well clear of gabriel too, seen some not so good things
bout them in particular.
