i just bought some fender mirrors of ebay for my 70. but before i drill holes in my gaurds i was wondering if they r legal?
i just don't really wanna have holes in my gaurds cause ive had to take the mirrors off. any help is always good

I doubt fender mirrors are legal anywhere in Australia. I think the issue is pedestrian safety if they get hit and flung over the bonnet. I could be wrong. The other issue would be not providing good enough rearward vision. But I get away with having them once the cars inspected. The whole fender mirror issue goes back to the 70's when most cops were still being born.

ive always been intrigued with fender mirrors, they look cool and all, but damn they must suck to actually look at anything!!

Fendor mirrors are legal only If they are spring mounted
these r like square black ones. they wont be spring mounted. if i wanna hit somone in my car i want it to hurt..
i don't want them rolling around on my bonnet. plus they will just snap if hit hard. gonna have to wait the pub was calling and
didnt have time to take gaurd off.
