not all konis don't blow seals after 6 months. infact i have never seen a set of konis blow seals after 2 years.
i have had the same pair of konis in my car for 2 years. they are set to the maxium hard setting and i got them second hand they would be atleast 7 years old.
konis are hard to find short stroke. mine are standard stroke and i got em for free.
i don't think they are a quality product but they are not as bad as they are made out to be. i know of several cars that have them and have been going strong for years.
