ke70 vs ae86 x member

hi all quik and very easy question, i just don't have access to a ke70 to find out


i am doing a beams conversion and want to mod a x member to take beams mounts

are ke70 and ae86 x members the same without the mounts on them???

ae86 rack still fits????

well real question is

if i cut mounts off a ke70 x member it will be the same as if i did the same to an ae86 x member


i just don't want to hack up a good ae86 x member as it can be usefull to ke70 guys doign 4ages

yep hack up the 70 item Brendan

takes the same rack etc and obviously the bolt hole spacings etc are the same

you can get them for like $20 whereas you can sell your AE86 item for $80

whats postage worth for an x member and how much u chasin for it

on a side not ae71 and ae86 x members are slightly differant. 71 ones don't have the reinforcement inside the engine bracket. kinda good harder to loose nuts in there.
