    Hey all,

Well, I have decided to go down another path with my T series housing. So i have a pair of T series axles, from a Series 2 T18. So i don't really know if thats any difference between series one. The splines are in good condition, and it has wheel studs.

Looking for about $150 or so for the pair. Will consider swaps for a Tarago E series axle with cash adjustment.

They can be posted, but it wont be very cheap, like $50 or so as a guess.

    Otherwise pickup from sydney.

Actually, I just had a thought about these.

The whole diff was originally bought from JustJap (importing company) so the diff could be from a Jap AE86. It has a drum rear end, and the centre was an LSD factory centre.

Has Swaybar mounts on the housing.

I am not sure on prices for these, I thought $150 was sort of fair, but maybe I am pushing it a bit.

    Make offers on them.

if the bearing is wide, then thats a pretty good price, because it will fit in a kouki jdm housing. making it a pretty rare part.
it is likely they will too, if the axle is from an 86, which is also pretty likely. note - some base model jdm 86s did have drum brakes, i have seen 2 examples with this set up, atleast 1 being kouki.

    2 things though.

what is your plan? tarago axles are too long for an 86 rear end. and the spline is wrong. the spline is also wrong for kouki centres, but it can be modified. once you have seen this done though you will begin to realise youre better off with unmodified zenki axles than butchered e series ones.

also you can't put e series axles in jdm housings without changing the wheel bearing. you might be able to use the jdm bearing on the e series axle, but theres a chance it wont fit either.

I'm just guessing at what youre trying to do, send me a pm, or ignore if you like, just sounds like some one might have led you down the wrong track.
