fuel pump?

My car has been acting like a motorbike lately. Sometimes wont start unless i hit accelerator?

Fuel pump need replacing?

more info would help alot but basicly

if it's carby, then the choke probably isn't working properly, you're using the accel pump circuit to get the extra fuel in.
if it's EFI then it's a open question, again...need more info!
