carrier should be nipped up tight, then backed off 2 -3 notches(more if old bearings). then set lash and contact. about .2 to .4 of a mm for lash(again more if old).
then contact: to much heel, move the wheel....blah, blah, blah, I'm sure you can find a tooth contact chart.
edit: these arn't exact toyota specs, just an idea. i usually set them up by feel. but if someone has a workshop manual just for peice of mind
