    I have to agree here, the air temp sensor is there for a good reason and anything else is a comparmise at best and at worst a blown engine.

    well I don't know about other ECU's but the wolf ECU uses a generic holden one. Ask the maker of the ecu whats compatable

    i can use any i geuss as it has 1 signal wire for air temp and shares the earth with the map and coolant temp sensors, does the holden one have a 2 pin type sensor????

    Pretty sure adaptronic an use any old one. Might need to calibrate. Try the adaptronic forum for some answers.

    yeah i wouldn't be suprised if i could use the old one, but i sold me jdm rwd manifold a while ago and don't have a air temp sensor any more, think of raiding the wreckers

    You will be amazed how much better it will go on a cold vic night with a bit of positive trim. How else can you take full advantage of the cold climate?
